What a fabulous idea! I always have problems keeping burgers hot until ready to serve and this solves that issue. In fact, my husband asked for burgers on the grill for tonight but I think I will serve him these instead and I guarantee he won't miss the "grilled" burger when he tastes them.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I have never used Gouda on burgers so will definitely stop at the store on my way home so I can do it "Authentic, Austin Style."
I can't wait to hear how they went over!! I'm addicted to these burgers
ReplyDeleteYep, ADDICTIVE is the right word. I made them for dinner and there was to be leftovers. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), they were all gone in one meal! I did not get to the store for Gouda but have put that on my grocery list along with more burger so I can make them again soon, the right way.
ReplyDeleteWe are in Omaha, NE and have family in the Houston, TX, area so are watching the weather there. Hope you and yours are safe and sound with the effects of the storms.
I really enjoy your blog and hope you will continue to post your ideas. It will take months to eat all the recipes you have posted already but I check it daily for new ideas. Thanks for your input.
the fact they nuke back to 'as good as fresh' is a huge perk for my perpetually hungry son and husband. Thanks for the support, I am working on a new recipe for easy bread now... it'll be up tomorrow! :D
